TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using the THE Ohio 7on7 Collective ("O7C", "we", "our", or "us") website, mobile application, and player portal (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Platform.

2. ELIGIBILITY

The Platform is designed for youth football players, their parents or guardians, coaches, and authorized staff. If you are under 18 years old, you must register and use the Platform with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. By registering a minor, the parent or guardian represents that they have the authority to do so and agree to these Terms on behalf of the minor.

3. REGISTRATIONS & PAYMENTS

When you register for an event, team, tournament, or college camp through the Platform, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information
• Pay all applicable registration fees at the time of registration unless a payment plan is offered
• Authorize us to process payments through our third-party payment processor (Square)
• Comply with all event, league, and tournament rules provided to you

Registration fees, team fees, and travel fees are non-refundable except as described in our refund policy or as required by law. Payment plans, where offered, must be completed in full to maintain program eligibility.

4. WAIVERS & ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK

Participation in 7-on-7 football, tournaments, and related travel involves inherent risks of injury, including serious injury or death. By registering through the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all applicable waivers, including the event registration waiver and team travel waiver. Parents or guardians signing on behalf of a minor acknowledge these risks and consent to the minor's participation.

5. CONDUCT & CODE OF BEHAVIOR

You agree to use the Platform and participate in O7C programs in a respectful and lawful manner. You will not:

• Provide false or misleading information during registration
• Use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or platform systems
• Harass, bully, or discriminate against other players, parents, coaches, or staff
• Reproduce, sell, or exploit Platform content without authorization

Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account and disqualification from current or future O7C programs, without refund.

6. ACCOUNT SECURITY

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your confirmation number, magic link, and portal access credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from unauthorized account access.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All Platform content, including logos, graphics, text, and software, is the property of THE Ohio 7on7 Collective or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Player-submitted content (e.g., profile photos, highlight links) remains the property of the submitting user, who grants O7C a non-exclusive license to display it within the Platform for program purposes.

8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Platform integrates with third-party services for payment processing (Square), SMS communications (Twilio), email delivery (Resend), and college camp registrations. O7C is not responsible for the practices or content of these third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their respective terms and policies.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, THE Ohio 7on7 Collective and its officers, directors, employees, coaches, and volunteers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the Platform or participation in O7C programs. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to O7C in the preceding twelve (12) months.

10. SMS MESSAGING TERMS

By opting in to SMS messages from The Ohio 7on7 Collective / THE Ohio Players, you agree to receive messages related to registration, meetings, schedules, payments, events, travel updates, and program communication. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

11. REFUND POLICY

Registration and team fees are generally non-refundable. Refund requests may be submitted through the Platform and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds, if any, will be processed to the original payment method. See our Refund Request page for more information.

12. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, waivers, and liability limitations) shall remain in effect.

13. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Ohio.
